So it has been a ridiculous crazy week!! Leaving pretty much 0 time to excercise barely enough time to eat let alone cook a healthy meal and least of all blog! So here are the last couple days food journals.....
Next week i am going to Dr. Oz's diet from the Real Age website, it looks doable:)

Monday, January 25, 2010

Ok little confused!

Ok so I am was thinking about this and then I thought why not blog about it!:) Dr. Oz who I love tells me to eat ever couple hours to avoid getting hungry and overeating. Another Dr. that I can't remember the name, but I have his book, says that we need to recognize when our bodies are hungry therefore letting our bodies build our natural metabolism. So what is a girl to do? I like Dr. Oz's theory cuz it involves more eating but the 2nd theory makes sense to me too. Any thoughts?

Day3-Food Diary

Today, Another crazy Day!!I did manage to fit in a workout early in the morning and do an hour of cardio, so that was good. However I ate horrible!! I am so embarrassed to post this but I promised myself I would be honest with my bloggers and ultimately with myself!I am going to start including my work outs in my food diary posts.

Breakfast:My "milkshake" pre workout
Work out: 15 elliptical, 20 min of intervals on the treadmill(kicked our butts!) then a nice brisk walk outside for about 20 min(good for the soul)
Post workout: skinny vanilla latte

Lunch: smartones flatbread sandwich
lt vanilla yogurt

Snack:1/2 caesar wrap

Dinner:2 small pieces of pizza(the bad kind not like a veggie so I could have possibly saved face)

Before Bed Snack: Small blizzard(this was intented to be Desperate Housewives Ice Cream which is not to be messed with but it was a RERUN!! The nerve!)

Day 2-Food Diary

So today was a crazy, busy day. Between meetings, sessions and steves parents coming in for dinner, I ate out every single meal today! But I think i did pretty good in my choices, I didn't drink anything but water today so that helped with keeping the cals down. Unfortunately now, I'm broke:) Just kidding, kindof.

Breakfast:Skinny Vanilla Latte
1/2 oatmeal cookie from Starbucks

Lunch:A few chips and Salsa
Taquitos Appetizer

Snack:About 1/4 of a Red Rope

Dinner:Turkey Cobb salad with dressing on the side(best trick for cutting down the dressing, get it on the side and dip your fork into it before getting your bite, that way you get the perfect amound each time and it keeps it at about 2 tbsp)

Day 1-Food Diary

OMG this is ridiculous how scared I am to write this post!! Well I did alright today, binged a little on some drumsticks(thanks alot for leaving those Carrie:) But all in all ok, even went to a hockey game and resisted the yummy popcorn. Actually I did not resist I was all for getting some but Steve said" NO!Then you will have to blog it!" That made me LMAO! Okay okay, I know, get to the food already, here goes....
Breakfast: Coffee with fat free creamer
1c. vanilla soy milk with a scoop of protein powder(may not sound good but it tastes like a mild shake, for real!)
Lunch: 2 hard shell tacos, made with ground turkey, a little cheese, lots of veggies and a dollop of Daisy(light of course)
Snack: 2 Freaking Drumsticks!!Don't judge me, I can't control myself with the ice cream AND chocolate combo!!
Dinner: Salad w/leftover taco stuff plus about 1/4 of spanish rice.
AT THE GAME: Hold your applause please............a diet coke........

SO there it is all out on the table judge if you want but don't hate when I get skinny!!:)

Ok here it goes.....

Okay here it goes, my fantastic workout partner was brave enough to start a blog about her weight loss. Bravely putting herself out there for everyone to see, so I thought it would only be right if I did it with her. I am 26 years old, a wife to a wonderful husband that has loved me when I was little and still loved me when I was big! I have 2 little boys, 2 and 6 years old that are the light of my life. I do daycare 3 days a week and am a photographer the rest of the week. Now the scary stuff....... I am 5ft 6 inches and GULP, 205lbs. As scary as that is I am proud to say that I have lost 40 lbs in the last year through diet and exercise, but I have come to a stand still and have not lost anything for about 3 months. In all honesty I have been working out less and eating bad so I am not surprised I haven't lost but now I am trying to do everything I can to get myself motivated, so the blogging begins!! THE PLAN: I have started working out at least 3 days a week and my energy level is starting to get better, the problem is the EATING, I eat when I am bored, happy, sad, glad not necessarily bad for me stuff but just a lot of whatever it is, so I really need to get this under control!! The plan is to use this blog as a diary and food journal, hopefully it will help me be accountable and maybe help others as they work towards their own weight loss goals so stay tuned................................
